had respite break yesterday

I had my first respite break for 3 hours yesterday evening went to see some old friends from the amateur radio club lots of new faces there as well . it was our annual awards night with raffle and supper. the wife was with her new PA she said it was difficult for her having someone that she doesn't know that well in her home its just going to take time for them to get to know each other better. Even for the PA it was strange too as she use to working in units not in homes but they seamed to get on well and are looking at working out the other 2 hrs as well each week. as for me i had a great night chatting and doing the norm in the raffle i could of come away with about 8 prizes but that would not have been fair on others but i was made to take a second one and im now looking forward to next Thursday night  to go have a natter and cuppa with the guys and girls from the club a bit of normal life . This has speared me to get myself back into the hobby i loved and im now looking at building a radio again from kit :)
